Realizing the fact that poor families are still reluctant to send their daughters to schools and colleges, shareholders of WCS have provided some fund for scholarship to educate the girl students of the poor families in the micro credit program. Since 2000, this program has been supporting girl children of the poor families and members of micro credit program on a regular basis. The scholarship amount covers tuition fee, cash, school uniform, school bag, stationery and books etc. Scholarship is awarded on the basis of girl's learning aptitude and financial condition of the member household.

WCS is conducting free she-goat distribution to the poor women members of micro finance program in collaboration with Engineers' Wives Association. The member who gets a she-goat is required to give a she-goat free of cost to the program after a period of two years. Such she-goat is again distributed to another poor women member of micro finance with the above condition.
